In December 2018, Alex Todorovic, Ben Grande, Danny Grande, Luke Kissick and I founded CoDesign Factory after discovering that many computer science students on the University of Calgary campus were having challenges finding exciting industry opportunities in our home town Calgary. For the new initiative, I created mockups of our website and used p5.js with the support of the team to transform the designs into a reality on codesignfactory.ca.
The CoDesign Factory is a place where local businesses and students can collaborate on tech projects in Calgary.
By providing a path for entrepreneurs or startups who may have incredible ideas, but lack capital, CoDesign Factory acts as a gateway for software growth in Calgary by impacting the ground level of the industry. We enable ideas to come to life, creating the potential of large scale change within Calgary’s economic diversity.
