To celebrate the upcoming the release of the Cool Pets project, Vinnie Hager and Cool Cats put on an art competition prompting artists to envision what a potential future collaboration might look like. For the competition, I decided to use StyleGAN 2 to create a GAN for generating potential mashups! To train the network, I used the OpenSea Images Downloader GitHub project to retrieve all Letters and Cool Cats NFTs, then used Runway to quickly get the model up and running. After a few hours of training, I selected my favourite generated results and put them together into the piece below. The project was then selected as a winner of the competition!
